In March 1971 it was decided to revert to prices prior to December 12, 1970.
Until the fall of communism one of the makers suffered no responsibility for the massacre of workers events of December 1970. The only gesture was an official apology for the mistakes and promise of human Gierek's government during a meeting with workers in Gdansk after the incidents on the Coast.
Changing the system allowed to change this approach. In 1995, the then Public Prosecutor's Office in Gdansk Regional Court filed an indictment against Jaruzelski, Kociołkowi, Tuczapskiemu troops and commanders silencing protest. The first meeting of the court was held in March 1996. 3 years later, the process was moved to Warsaw.
December'70 to the events referenced track The Ballad of Janek Wisniewski and Andrzej Wajda's film Man of Iron. February 25, 2011 to Polish cinema hit film Black Friday, which was shot in the Tri-City in the places where the December events actually took place.
